If the trailer is any indication, the new Alien movie is going to suck, so I figured I'd take the opportunity to pump out a quick little title of the film I wish they'd make. Somewhere between Prometheus and the first Alien film.
This is obviously inspired by Ash "the lord" Thorp and Prometheus in general. Loving this workflow.
The lords at Mr P Studios and I worked with our brothers at Studio Hi Ho to create a short CGI clip for fun this past holiday season. I think it was a good lesson in how difficult lighting refractive materials are and how much time and effort can be sunk into a passion project.

Been having lots of fun lately using the x-particles demo and octane. Will hopefully upgrade to the full version once the demo is up so I can render out a few sweet little animations.
Been working on a personal project with the help of all-around 3d lord Tom Reynolds. Could not have done it without him. Will be posting some wild shit soon.
